Almost a year ago, I had the opportunity to give a talk at TEDx Carleton. An independently-organized event at my alma mater, TEDx brought together both students and teachers to discuss ideas and how they affect our lives or our outlook on the world.
I recently found the video from my talk, “Your Data and You”. A few months previous to this, I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes and had taken to extreme quantification as a coping mechanism. I studied statistics and research methodologies as part of my undergraduate degree, so it was genuinely interesting to pull my blood sugar data into Google Sheets and see how my blood sugar control regimen was working.
Without further ado, here’s my video.
